So like I mentioned before, I have a lot of time on my hands now that I'm at home. Like I also mentioned while I should be doing my apps with the deadlines looming, I have instead decided to channel my alertness into more practical ways. Like blogging. Or reading teen literature.
I'm twenty. Almost twenty-one but the last 3 books that I've read cover to cover have been Beautiful Creatures (which is going to be a movie), Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 1 and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. Did I mention that I'm almost done with the third one? Did I also mention that I have Ernest Hemingway's posthumously published memoir A Movable Feast on my kindle and haven't made it past the first 15 pages? I used to be a book snob... but now I'm just a snob?
Bookworm out.

the purpose
this blog is meant to document my travels to granada and then who knows what else? the title was inspired by my 3-year-old sister who after hearing me say "the best way possible" called me "the best popsicle". it's a joke that i still mention to her occasionally because i'm incredibly nostalgic.
anyways, since i'm home for winter break and have a good bit of down time between now and the beginning of the trip i'm using this to keep myself occupied. in reality, i should be using this time to work on internship applications or something productive (gasp!) but what fun is that?
so where to begin?
i haven't packed. i've just browsed OTHER study abroad blogs and thought endlessly about this adventure. you see, internet, i love change. i really do. and this is the ultimate adventure. i don't like to romanticize things but i think europe will be pretty awesome.
